I am so sorry that I did not blog for a very long time. Basically,  there is three big event happening today. One, Miss Chia is not here. Second, Mrs Wee is coming to give us a talk. And, last but not least, The Prefects Investiture.
Early in the morning, I had to rush to school as we ( student leaders) had to be at the hall by 7.15 as we will have our Investiture later on. The thing is, I never memorize the Prefect Pledge. Luckily, I managed to do it in the nick of the time. When we are reciting the Prefects pledge, I forgot part of it due to carelessness.
Later on, Mrs Wee came to our class to give us a talk. The topic of her speech to us is Desire is not equal to Devotion. At first many of us do not know the meaning of it but she explain clearly to us what she meant. "When you have the desire to get good results, that does not mean that you have the devotion   to get good results for PSLE." This sentence struck me the most during the talk. It is true. I think all of us had the desire to get good results but do not have the devotion. Thats because we are lazy. This problem is hindering most of us and pulling us away from our dreams. I am guilty of that. In my opinion, when we are given question like, will you get rid of your weaknesses, most of us answered yes but we do not take it. My mum kept on saying to me that Action speaks louder than words and I had to take things seriously and don't joke around. This is the fact. We had to accept it. Just like what Miss Chia said, This year is the year which decide the path we walk in the following years.
After the talk, we were told to do a reflection about what we had learnt today. Mrs Wee "ordered" us to write faster so that our minds could be train to think faster. 6B's big bad habit is our brain does not think fast enough. Thats a very big hinderance. Now, we found the problem, we should find the solution. =P
