I am very sorry that my group is not well prepared to answer the questions that our classmates ( 6B) asked us. These are the answers to your questions.Q1) How does the fish's gills work?
Ans: The gills work by providing a surface where the water ( which have dissolved oxygen) comes in to contact with the blood of the fish. The blood circulation withinn the gills is arranged that the flow of oxygen will be the opposite direction of the flow of water. This arrangement ensures that oxygen will always flow from the water into the blood. There are fillaments in the fish's gills to ensure that the gas exchange process will be fine.
Q2)What is a coyette?
Ans: It is known as an American Jackal or a pairie wolf.
